ST. GEORGE, Utah – SIUE golf carded a team-total of 302 Monday and finished 11th at the Pizza Hut Pat Hicks Invitational hosted by Southern Utah.
The Cougars totaled an 898 and finished 11th at their first tournament since March, 2020.
Utah finished at 823 to capture the team title. Utah Valley (838) and host Southern Utah (843) rounded out the top three teams.
Utah's Blake Tomlinson took home individual medalist honors with a 201.
For the Cougars, Brooks Jungbluth shot a 221 to tie for 43rd place. T. J. Baker tied for 45th at 222. Peder Lehmann Brunnsjö finished 58th with a 226. Parker McEachern, who is playing as SIUE's individual, finished 59th 227. Anthony Ruthey finished at 231 to tie for 66th. Zak Butt tied for 73rd at 240.
SIUE will host its only home event Feb. 27 when Bradley comes to Edwardsville. The Cougars will face the Braves at Sunset Hills Country Club.
