CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – SIUE golf is tied for seventh after the first day of play at the 2025 OVC Championship at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The Cougars have a 300 (+12) and are tied with Tennessee State. Little Rock leads the team competition at 282 (-6). UT Martin is even at 288 and is in second place.

Individually, Brady Kaufmann (+1) is tied for 17^th to lead the Cougars. Alex Eickhoff (+2) is tied for 23^rd. Brent Reintjes (+3) is tied for 27^th. Preston Bily (+6) is tied for 44^th. Will Simpson (+8) is tied for 48^th.

UT Martin's Jonathan Xoinis (-4) is the sole leader atop the leaderboard. Six players are tied for second at three-under.

SIUE will pair with Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech in Monday's second round.
