OVC CO-PLAYER Â OF THE WEEK: SIUE infielder
Paige Rocha was honored as the Ohio Valley Conference Co-Player of the Week. The Cougar sophomore shortstop from Platte City, Missouri, now has a team-leading 13-game hitting streak after posting a strong week of play in the leadoff spot for the Cougars. Four of her nine hits were of the extra-base variety, including two home runs. For the week, Rocha hit .643 with four runs scored, four RBIs and a slugging percentage of 1.214. She is hitting .500 in OVC play and .459 overall, which is ranked No. 28 nationally.
WEEKLY HONORS: This is the third straight week that SIUE has had a player honored in OVC weekly awards.
Sydney Baalman and
Lexi King previously were named OVC Pitcher of the Week.
SERIES VS. BRADLEY: SIUE holds an 11-3 all-time advantage against the Braves. The last meeting between the schools was 2019 when Bradley defeated SIUE 11-1 in five innings. SIUE's last win in the series was 2018, a 4-3 win in Peoria.Â
BUNCH OF SLUGGERS: SIUE had three players this past week with slugging percentages above .800 over the last 10 games.
Grace Lueke, who made her first appearance of the season last week, has a 1.000 slugging percentage. She is followed by Rocha at .906 and

IN THE CIRCLE: Baalman is second in the OVC and 150th nationally in earned run average at 1.96.
Kelsey Ray is second in the OVC and 53rd nationally in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 5.62.
