Final Results
BOULDER CITY, Nev. – SIUE golf finished sixth at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational completed Saturday at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Cougars combined for a 309 in Saturday's first round and an 898 for the event. UNLV captured the team title with an 836, 14 strokes better than second-place Utah at 850. Utah State was third at 878.
Individually for SIUE, Brooks Jungbluth led the team with a 220 to tie for 18th place. Zax Butt and Anthony Ruthey, who was playing as SIUE's individual, tied for 26th at 223. Parker McEachern tied for 31st at 225. TJ Baker tied for 37th with a 230. Presley Mackelburg finished at 235 to tie for 44th.
Southern Utah's Jake Vincent finiahed at 201 (-15) to earn medalist honors.
The Cougars return to the course Saturday in Peoria, Illinois. SIUE will meet Bradley for the second time this season in a dual match.
