Final Results
VALENTINE, Neb. – SIUE golf improved for the second day in a row, carding a final-round score of 287 at The Jackrabbit, hosted by South Dakota State. The Cougars finished eighth.
Kansas took home the team title with an 845. Central Florida was second at 856. UMKC (874) rounded out the top three teams. Harry Hillier of Kansas earned medalist honors with a 205.
Junior transfer Albert Nilsson earned his first top-10 at the Division I level, finishing ninth with a 215 (-1). His third round 67 was the lowest round of his career.
Kyle Slattery tied for 14th with a 218 (+3). Conor Dore tied for 47th at 231. Brooks Jungbluth tied for 65th with a 239. Grant Gavin finished in 73rd.
The Cougars break from tournament play with their Alumni match, scheduled for Oct. 12 at Arlington Greens. SIUE finishes its fall schedule at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate Oct. 15-16.
