1,600-Meter Relays Crushes Record

DES MOINES, Iowa - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's 1,600-meter relay posted a school record best time and a mark which may place the Cougars among the 10 fastest times in all of NCAA Division II. SIUE's foursome of Kyle Rose, Jonathan Bannister, Ryan Nowakowski and Jeff Fearday ran the school record time of 3 minutes, 10.90 seconds. The Cougars placed third in the finals. SIUE also improved on its school record in the 4X200-meter relay in a time of 1:26.59.
