EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - SIUE track and field prepares for the Gibson Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. This mee with take place over Friday and Saturday.
Friday's events will start at 9:30 a.m. with the men's decathlon. field events are set to start at 12:00 p.m. with the women's discus throw, and running events begin at 6 p.m. with the women's 3000m steeplechase.
Events will continue on Saturday starting at 11:30 a.m. with the women's long jump. Running events are to start at 12 p.m. with the women's 100m hurdles. The final event will be the men's 4x400m relay at 5:45 p.m.

The Cougars competed at home for the Cougar Classic. Both teams had several athletes with top finishes.
Grant Milbrath finished in second for the men's shot put at 17.36m (56-11.50), this moves him to third in the programs all-time performances. Milbrath also competed in the men's hammer throw placing fourth at 60.8m (199-9), placing him in second for programs all-time performances.
Zaria Searcy placed first in the women's high jump at 1.61m (5-3.25).
Drew Tucker led the men's high jump taking first at 1.93m (6-04).
Teagan Sullivan finished first in the women's long jump at 5.70m (18-08.50)
Taylor Lehman placed first in the men's 400m hurdles at 52.63
Sheena Cumberbatch placed first in the women's triple jump at 11.69m (38-4.25).
