SIUE 2002 Track and Field - Walden Misses Qualifying

        SAN ANGELO, Texas - Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Dan Walden (Springfield) missed qualifying for the finals at 800 meters for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
        Walden finished last in his heat and ran his race in 1 minute, 57.11 seconds.
        Ryan Locklin, of Chico State, ran the fastest in the preliminary round in 1:51.12. The top two in each heat and the next two fastest times advanced to Saturday's final.
