SIUE Softball Drops Pair Sunday

CONWAY, Ark. – SIUE softball played two games at the shortened Michelle Short & Adam Brown Tournament and dropped both contests Sunday.

Central Arkansas defeated the Cougars 10-2 in five innings. Oklahoma State downed SIUE 10-0 in five innings.

SIUE's offense was limited to two runs for the day in the fifth inning against Central Arkansas. Lauren Yslava doubled home Carle Bachman. Anna Henderson added an RBI single that played Kaylynn Salyars.

Anna Henderson led the Cougars for the day with two hits.

SIUE's next action is in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Feb. 28-Mar. 2. SIUE plays Furman and UAB twice each as well as host Alabama.
