BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – Following their 2024 regular season women's volleyball has two members selected to All-OVC second team.
 
Grad student Nicole Medlin and Senior Sydney Hummert were recognized on the All-OVC Second Team November 23.
 
Medlin transferred to SIUE from the University of Colorado Colorado State for her final season of eligibility.
 
This year Medlin had recorded 258 kills at a .308 hitting percentage. She has also tallied 28 digs, and 125 total blocks over 29 matches played this season.
 
During the 2024 season Hummert has recorded 294 kills at a .154 clip, 23 service aces, 262 digs, and 62 total blocks over 26 matches played. Earlier this year the outside earned her 1,000th career kills against Western Illinois and 1,000th career dig versus USI.
