EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Graduate Student Wes Gibson (Morton, Ill.) from the men's soccer team has received Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors after his performance in the OVC Championship Tournament.
 
Gibson secured the win for the Cougars during the OVC Championship game. During the 104th minute of the game Gibson scored the game winning goal of a corner kick. This game qualified the Cougars for their 25th NCAA bid.
 
The Prairie Farms Cougar of the Week Honors an SIUE student-athlete who demonstrated excellence in competition.
