Evie Wolshire a native of Lancaster Ohio joins the Cougars women’s basketball team as a graduate assistant coach.
Wolshire attended Wittenberg University where she got her bachelors in sport management. While getting her education she was a student athlete playing for the Tigers women’s basketball team. During her time with the basketball team, she acted as team captain and helped lead her team to two conference and one tournament championships. She also holds a record for single-game assists, recording eleven in one game.
Before coming to Edwardsville, Wolshire acted as an intern for the Wittenberg Athletic Department. She worked on scheduling and coordinating events and activities, and worked with community relations specializing on NIL brand awareness.
