2018 Outdoor: Placed 13^th in the 5,000m at the OVC Championships… Took third in the 5,000 at the Tom Botts Invitational… Placed fifth in the 3,000 at the Redbird Invite

2018 Indoor: Had his best finish of the season at the Don DeNoon Invitational where he placed tenth in the 4x400m relay (3:36.22).

2017 Outdoor: Recorded career best in the 10,000 at the WashU Invite in 31:35.40 ... Set personal best by two seconds in the 800 at the Joe Walker Invitational.

2017 Indoor: Earned a personal best in the 3,000m at the Indiana Relays with a time of 8:51.88… Second personal best for the season occurred at GVSU Big Meet in 5,000m with a time of 15:21.30… Third personal best captured in Missouri Invite in the mile…

2016 Outdoor: Competed in six meets in his sophomore campaign... earned fourth in the 1500 meters and the 800 at the SIUE-SIUC Dual... Set personal bests in the 800, 1,500, 3,000, 5,000 and 10,000.

2016 Indoor: Finished in first place in the 3K at the John Craft Invitational with a time of 9:04.04... competed with the distance medley team at the OVC Championships and earned fifth place. 

2015 Indoor: Did not compete

2015 Outdoor: Competed in six meets as a true freshman... finished fourth in the 3K at the SIUE Gateway Invitational... finished sixth in the OVC Championship in the 10K.

2017: Set a 10K PR and the 14th fastest time (32:02.9) in SIUE history at the NCAA Midwest Regionals. Ran a personal record in the 8K at the Illinois State Invite (25:40.07)... Finished 10th at the EIU Walt Crawford Open and at the Bradley Invitational. 

2016: Ran the 19th fastest 10K in school history with a 106th place finish at the NCAA Regionals (32:27.5) in Iowa City, Iowa ... Set personal best in the 8K with 26:12.26 fifth-place finish at the SIUE John Flamer Invitational ... Took ninth in season opener at EIU Walt Crawford Open (26:29.5).

2015: Competed in all six races as a sophomore... recorded his best finish of the year at the EIU Walt Crawford Invitational Sept. 4 with a 14th place finish.

2014: Competed in five races as a true freshman... Set a PR in the 8K at the OVC championships with a 48th place finish and a time of 26:25.33... Performace in the 10K at the NCAA Regionals places him sixth on the all-time freshmen list with a time of 33:00.5... placed 34th at the John Flamer Invitational with a time of 26:51.59.

Prep: Claimed an 11^th place finish at the 2013 IHSA Cross Country Championships as a senior at Springfield High School ... Earned All-Conference honors three times as a member of the track and field team and twice in cross country … Helped his team claim conference titles twice in track and once in cross country … Ran track for four seasons and cross country for two seasons while at Springfield High School … Collected a combined five letters between cross country and track … Tabbed as team captain for a season for both cross country and track and field teams … Parents are Terry and Enola Owens.
