ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Lindenwood scored a pair of early second-half goals and held on for a 2-0 victory Sunday over SIUE women's soccer at Hunter Stadium.
The Cougars dropped to 1-6-3 overall and 0-2-1 in OVC play while Lindenwood improved to 6-4-1 overall and 2-0-1 in OVC play.
The Lions picked up a goal from Allison Schrumpf at 50:04 and a second from Anna Johnson at 56:43.
SIUE did not let the Lions off with an easy win. The Cougars had a total of nine shots, with six being on frame and four corner kicks.
