• SIUE collected its first victory of the season, 2-1 decision over Purdue Fort Wayne to close out a three-game homestand.
• This is SIUE's first regular season road contest against a team which has yet to give up a goal in its first three regular season matches.
• Kasey Neidhardt became the team's leading scorer with three points. All three points came in SIUE's win over Purdue Fort Wayne. She scored the first goal of the 2-1 victory and then provided an assist on the eventual game-winning goal.
• SIUE outshot IUPUI 14-12 in last year's meeting but dropped a 3-2 decision. Savannah DeFini scored a goal and Sydney Christopher had an assist in that contest (Aug. 21).
• SIUE enters the season coming off three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances and three Ohio Valley Conference Tournament championship game victories.
