LAST GAME: Little Rock took the opening ten points and held its lead the rest of the way to down SIUE 61-38 on Thursday night at First Community Arena. The Trojans scored 26 points off 19 Cougar turnovers. SIUE trailed by as many as 14 in the second quarter but finished the first half strong on an 8-2 run for a 28-20 score at half. The Cougars returned from the locker room using a 6-2 run to cut their deficit to three points before Little Rock used 10-2 run to lead by 10 with 4:05 to play in the third. The Trojans finished the third on a 5-0 run to lead by 13 at 47-34. The Trojans continued to work the ball inside to outscore SIUE 14-4 in the final quarter. SIUE shot 29 percent (15-52) and were held scoreless from behind the arc (0-14) for the second time this season.

SENIOR DAY: SIUE will celebrate seniors Jaida Hampton, Mikayla Kinnard, and Ajulu Thatha pregame.

HOT HAND: SIUE ranks second in the OVC in scoring offense since beginning conference play, averaging 69.1 points per game.

DO IT FOR FREE: The Cougars rank second in the OVC and 57th in the NCAA averaging 14.1 free throws made per game. SIUE ranks second in the OVC and 64th nationally in free throw attempts per game at 19.4. Thatha's 163 attempts leads the conference and ranks 31st in the country. Her 121 free throws made also leads the league and ranks 40th nationally.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE TROUBLE: Thatha has recorded a league-leading 11 double-doubles this season, including last game vs. Little Rock. She's second in the league averaging 16.6 points and first averaging 10.6 rebounds since beginning conference play.

SILVEY LINING: Macy Silvey tied a career-high 14 points against Eastern Illinois, 12 of which came on the three pointer. She was 4-7 from deep, tying a career best in three pointers made. Her eight rebounds also set a personal best mark. She is averaging 9.8 points over her last five.

KID ROCKS: Mikayla Kinnard leads the Cougars at 15.5 points per game over the last four games. She is also averaging 5.5 rebounds.

SHEEHAN-DLES (AND DISHES): Molly Sheehan leads the Cougars averaging 2.9 assists per contest and free throw percentage (min: 10 att) at .947 (18-19) against conference opponents.

LOWIS IS LEADING: Sofie Lowis is second on SIUE and 14th in the OVC averaging 11.5 points per contest. She also leads the league and ranks 41st in the country with 191 three-point attempts. Her four three pointers at TSU out tied a season high. Lowis ranks third in the OVC averaging 1.8 threes made per game and leads SIUE connecting on 49 from deep this season. She leads SIUE with 18 games in double figures.
