• Taylor Dolt scored the game-winning goal Thursday as SIUE won its second straight Ohio Valley Conference road contest in a 2-1 victory at league newcomer Lindenwood. SIUE is tied with Tennessee Tech at 2-0 (six points) in the league standings.
• SIUE's Matea Diekema was named the Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week after her performance in the Cougars' 2-0 win at Southeast Missouri.
• Taylor Spiller earned OVC Goalkeeper of the Week honors with the shutout at Southeast Missouri. Spiller shared the honor with Lindenwood's Sam Blazek.
• Sidney Christopher recorded her team-leading third assist of the season at Lindenwood.
• Savannah DeFini and Lily Schnieders are tied for the team lead in goals with two. Schnieders scored the first goal Thursday at Lindenwood.
• SIUE is averaging 19.5 shots per game in the first two OVC contests.
