SIUE HIGHLIGHTS

-SIUE finished sixth out of 12 teams at the meet

-Kassidy Dexheimer won the steeplechase (11:27.46). Emily Ellis was fourth (12:22.74)

-Keri Burmester placed fourth in the 10K (39:49.04)

-Aly Goff posted another PR in the 1,500 (4:36.62). That time boosted her to No. 3 on SIUE's all-time list, passing Haley Miller (2017)

-Chessy Nikonowicz placed eighth in the 5K (19:31.23)

"Keri Burmester ran well in the 10k then Aly followed last week up with another PR in the 1500m again."

"Our women are progressing, and we are learning every week. We have a very young team outside of the fifth-year seniors. We want to soak up experience every time we step on the track."
