GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY
The 2017-18 season marks the 50th season of SIUE men's basketball. The men's basketball program began with the 1967-68 season, the first of three under the late Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Harry Gallatin.

THIRD SEASON
SIUE Head Coach Jon Harris is in his third season at the helm of the Cougars. The native of Edwardsville, Illinois, is 13-51 overall.

LAST TIME
A season-high four players scored in double figures for the Cougars Wednesday, but it wasn't enough to overcome a hot-shooting SIU Carbondale team. The Salukis downed the Cougars 86-59 Wednesday at SIU Arena. Senior Jalen Henry collected his second double-double of the season and fourth of his career with 11 points and 11 rebounds. He added two assists, two steals and a block. Christian Ellis scored 16 points to lead SIUE in scoring for the second straight game. Jaylen McCoy connected on three three-pointers and scored a career-high 13 points. Daniel Kinchen scored 12 points. The Cougars struggled through a slow start, opening the game 0-12 from the field.

SERIES STUFF
Fort Wayne holds a 12-8 advantage in the all-time series and has won the last eight meetings between the two schools.
