Women's Cross Country

SIUE Women's Cross Country Completes Roy Griak Invitational

FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – SIUE women's cross country finished 32nd in the Roy Griak Invitational in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.

The race featured 32 squads from across the nation, including seven nationally ranked teams.

The Cougars finished in 32nd to complete the race, led by junior Conradette King with a time of 24:49.

Completing the top five for the Cougars were Jess Clarke (25:09), Kirby Hale (24:19), Haley Miller (25:23), and Erin Kennedy (26:07).

The race was the first 6K race for the women this year.

"The women executed pack mentality and were engaged in the race," said Head Coach Eileen McAllister. "The key will be how they adjust moving forward."

The Cougars' next race is on their home course for the John Flamer Invitational Oct. 4.
